Psychoanalysis and psychoanalytical therapy couldn’t be reduced to a treatment aimed at the alleviation of personal suffering, and emotional or mental distress. It is a unique opportunity to get to know who you are in the contemporary world, where everything seems rootless and uncertain. It is an exploration of those aspects of oneself which are usually pushed aside and filtered out in our everyday lives, but which if given a sustained central focus can be seen to condition our moods and thinking, our stance in the world and relationships with others.

Psycho
analysis

A form of ‘talking therapy’, it is based on the idea that our conscious thoughts and feelings are largely determined by unconscious impressions and desires, of which we are not only unaware, but which can often be at odds with our conscious beliefs and wants.

Psychoanalysis offers one of the few spaces where you are encouraged to practice ‘free speech’. You will notice arising of various thoughts, memories or feelings, which you'd like to dismiss, because ''this or that is not important or doesn't matter..." Something will successfully escape from being expressed, because "it's disgusting".

Pointless, unimportant, disgusting are the guards of the censorship, which protects from shame, come-down, confusion or derision, all of them thoroughly bricked up but traumatizing from inside.

Psychoanalysis is not a psychological ‘education’; it does not offer self-improvement techniques or advice. It's a way to meet the days and the nights of your soul, repressed desires, fears, weaknesses but own strength as well.

In spite of the fact it's not just a therapy, but first of all an analysis, it could have a long lasting side effect. A human being gets ready to live an authentic life, releases mental pain, gets back the ability to work and to love.

There is no time limit to the duration of the treatment. It lasts as long as is necessary for you, whether shorter or longer term treatment is required.

You can attend between one and five times per week and this frequency may vary throughout the treatment.

Although a start can be made with once a week therapeutic sessions, two sessions per week gives the therapy far more momentum to begin with.

Initial consultation

We will discuss your situation and the possibilities of working together, as well as any questions and concerns you might have. Choosing an analyst who is right for you is vital to the success of any therapy, so it will be your opportunity to decide – if what is offered meets what you are looking for.

Fees

In psychoanalysis, money also has a symbolic value. Fees and means of payment are negotiated at the beginning of treatment.

Individuals

The initial session for individuals is 65 eur. The fee and amount of next sessions are negotiated during the initial session.

Couple therapy

The standard fee for an initial session is 100 eur with negotiable increases.

Children therapy

The standard fee for an initial session is 50 eur.

About
me

I am certified Lacanian psychoanalyst and being multilingual I offer counselling, short or long-term psychoanalytical therapy and psychoanalysis in Ukrainian, English, German and Russian languages. Both in-person and online.

I am MSc in clinical psychology (Sophia-Antipolis University, France) and a full member of Ukrainian Association of Psychoanalysis (UAP- ECPP).

For now I share a part-time between institutional engagements being a professor of psychology at the International Institute of the Depth Psychology as well as in my office I also propose a classical psychoanalytical approach.

I am committed to the code of ethics of UAP-ECPP and my work is supervised.
